The Sound of Ideas

Description
You know what you don't want this holiday season? The flu. It's worse than a lump of coal. But the flu is hitting hard, and the flu shot may not help as much as hoped. I'm Mike McIntyre. On The Sound of Ideas, we'll discuss your flu questions with the medical director of the Ohio Department of Health. Then, what to do with the kids or visiting family over the holiday break. We'll have guests with some great ideas, and we'd love to hear yours. And, a local toy inventor won a $100,000 grand prize and a contract with Mattel for winning a contest on the ABC show, The Toy Box. We'll meet the recent Hiram College grad and ask what's next up his sleeve.

Guests:
-Dr. Clint Koenig, Medical Director, Ohio Department of Health
-Carrie Carpenter, Executive Director & President, Gordon Square Arts District
-Nikki Delamotte, Author, 100 Things to Do in Cleveland Before You Die & Arts and Culture Reporter, Cleveland.com
-Jenny Steadman, Publisher & Owner, Macaroni Kids Cleveland East & Northern Akron
-Nathaniel Eaton, Inventor of the HydroShield Water Dodger
