For a second year, Northeast Ohioans are being encouraged to pull up a chair and join a community conversation aimed at improving communities. The Cleveland Foundation is expanding this year's Common Ground conversation into neighboring counties and building discussions around the question of "Why place matters?". We'll discuss the scope of this year's Common Ground event, including mechanisms to move the ideas generated during the conversations from words to action. Then, we'll meet the new president of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and discuss his goal of improving diversity in the legal community here. Plus, an Ohio State study finds criticism can negatively impact a new father's parenting involvement.
