There are laws in place to protect older workers and job seekers from age discrimination, but many people over 50 will tell you it happens anyway and it's difficult to prove. Sometimes it's subtle; younger employees just don't think seasoned co-workers are up to speed. Sometimes it's outright -- employers say they want new blood. This morning on The Sound of Ideas, a look at age discrimination in the workplace and the lengths older workers go to avoid it. Then, we'll look at a famous painting at the Cleveland Museum of Art -- one that depicts two boxers locked in battle -- from the perspective of fighters.
