Description
Gov. John Kasich called for Ohio to expand federal Medicaid by saying that when it comes to the poor, there should be no partisanship. But House Republicans disagree. They've retooled Kasich's budget and nixed expanding Medicaid to cover 275,000 more low-income Ohioans and the $13 billion in federal funds to cover it. Join host Mike McIntyre for a look at budget math, political fallout and the health implications of the house's action.

Guests:

Sarah Jane Tribble, Reporter, The Plain Dealer

Dr. Jim Misak, Associate Director, Family Medicine, MetroHealth Center for Community Health

Karen Kasler, Bureau Chief, Statehouse News Bureau

Rep. Ron Amstutz

Rep. Mike Foley
