The Governor was at Shawnee State to discuss accomplishments for higher education in the biennial budget, including a two-year tuition freeze and additional scholarships for students pursing STEM disciplines. The Governor also talked about The University System of Ohio. The system, which consists of the state's two- and four-year public colleges and universities and numerous adult career centers, was recently created to increase collaboration and cooperation among higher education institutions in Ohio.
