Since 2012, casino operators have deducted over $500 million in promotional gaming credits from their revenues. This equates to about a $165 million shortfall in revenues promised to Ohio schools and local governments. Currently, there is no requirement under Ohio law prohibiting or limiting such deductions.
Senator Bill Coley discusses the introduction of legislation to prevent casino developers who haven't met their revenue projections from receiving deductions for free promotional gaming credits.
Also speaking are Senator Dave Burke and Senator Bob Peterson.
