COLUMBUS - State Representative Tom Young (R-Miamisburg) will host a press conference with members of the Miamisburg Police Department and Montgomery County Humane Society to introduce legislation to establish a penalty for the mutilation of a deceased animal.

The introduction of the legislation follows a video that circulated around social media in August of a student stabbing a dog that was struck and killed by a car. An investigation followed resulting in no crime being committed.
