Description
Frances McGovern served the people of Summit County for three terms in the Ohio House of Representatives in the 1950s.

Her memoir, Fun, Cheap, and Easy - My Life in Ohio Politics,

details her life and the colorful people she knew in local, state, and national politics throughout 1949-1964.

McGovern served as a representative at two Democratic National Conventions, and this photo could have been from the 1964 Convention in support of Lyndon B. Johnson for U.S. President.
