Description
News of the ongoing opioid crisis seems to have taken a backseat to coverage of COVID-19 and Monkeypox. The crisis continues with overdose rates among Black Ohioans are higher than among white Ohioans.

We'll look at what's being done to prevent opioid deaths in Ohio's African American communities.

Guests:

Jack Shuler, journalist and author of This is Ohio: The Overdose Crisis and the Front Lines of a New America
Nathaniel Jordan, executive director of the Columbus Kappa Foundation
Debbie Willis, mother of Caleb Willis who passed away due to an overdose
