HEADLINES: Bob Bennett resigns as the chair of the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections, nearly a month after Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner, a Democrat, had ordered the entire board to step down. Governor Ted Strickland sounds off on the Iraq war again this week, this time on National Public Radio. Three members of the Public Utilities Commission appointed by former Gov. Taft were off that board for just a weekend, but are back in those seats now. The number of foreclosure filings in Ohio ballooned by nearly 24 percent last year.
