The State of Ohio - Real ID Program; Graying Workforce

HEADLINES: Ohio's prison population is at its zenith, and the numbers of inmates are increasing dramatically. Ohio voters say it's not OK if Gov. Strickland is Democratic Vice Presidential candidate.

SEGMENT 1: A driver's license is no longer just proof that the bearer has passed a road test. For many decades, it's been a critical component of proving identity. Linda Wuestenberg is working to help create a database of contact information for family members after her 33 year old son Steve Burge was killed in a car crash in February. And Tom Hunter from the Ohio Department of Public Safety explains how it will work, and gives an update on the status of the Real ID program.

SEGMENT 2: And the graying of the workforce is becoming a red hot issue, as the state encourages companies to consider keeping older workers on the job. Workforce development experts are now urging companies to consider encouraging older employees to stay on longer, and to think about hiring older workers who aren't ready to retire to replace those who are. Barbara Riley, the director of the Ohio Department of Aging, has a preview of a conference coming up on November 28 on that issue.

HIGHLIGHTS: This year's holiday tree lighting at the Ohio Statehouse.
