HEADLINES: Ohio's banks are saying Ohioans don't need to worry about their bank accounts in the wake of the collapse of California-based IndyMac bank, and the rumblings of major problems with at least one Ohio bank. With foreclosure rates still high in Ohio, the state is stepping up its Save the Dream campaign to help people stay in their homes with some 300 billboards around Ohio. The battle to keep DHL from shipping thousands of jobs out of Ohio is going from the local and state levels to the national stage. A report released yesterday advises Ohio to make a number of adjustments to keep its unemployment fund from going bankrupt.

ROUNDTABLE SEGMENT: As the fall election moves closer, health care is moving up the list of concerns on the minds of voters. A panel of experts start the first part of a two-part conversation on how to fix America's health care crisis: Jim Castle is the president and CEO of the Ohio Hospital Association, which represents 178 hospitals and 40 health systems. Brian Rothenberg is the executive director of Progress Ohio, which is among 95 national and local groups launching a 40 million dollar campaign described as a push for quality, affordable health care for every American. And Kelly McGivern is president and CEO of the Ohio Association of Health Plans, which represents the health plan industry that serves 6 million Ohioans.
