The State of Ohio - English as Official Language; Public Transit

SEGMENT 1: There have been many verbal battles over the idea of English as an official language, especially when it comes to government business. But this contentious issue can bring cautious understanding as well as heated debate. In the studio to talk about handling official government functions in a state with a growing number of languages is Rep. Bill Batchelder (R-Medina) and the sponsor of a bill that would require tests for commercial drivers' licenses for truckers to be administered only in English; and Ezra Escudero, the director of the Office of Ohio Latino Affairs, which opposes so-called English only measures.
