COLUMBUS- State Reps. Juanita O. Brent (D-Cleveland) and Jamie Callender (R-Concord) will hold a press conference for House Bill (HB) 178 (C.R.O.W.N Act), in the Ohio Statehouse's Governor Thomas Worthington Center on Wednesday June 14, 2023 at 11am.
The C.R.O.W.N. Act bans hair discrimination in employment, places of public accommodation, housing, education, and credit practices. The C.R.O.W.N. Act provides survivors of hair discrimination the legal right to file a lawsuit against the assailant.
