State Senator Michele Reynolds discusses Senate Bill 147, The Voter Registration Modernization Act.
Reynolds' legislation is designed to allow voters to easily update their party affiliation on the voter registration form, and make other updates to Ohio's voting system.
Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose will be on hand to help explain the importance of this bill.
Also attending will be State Representative Thomas Hall, sponsor of House Bill 208, which, like Reynold's bill, moves Ohio's primary elections to a closed system, ensuring only Democrats vote in Democratic primaries and only Republicans vote in Republican primaries.
