While many people experience occasional pain that can be treated with over-the-counter pain relievers, some suffer from pain that is chronic and severe. The program will focus on explaining how pain management has developed into an integral part of the treatment for patients suffering from chronic, severe pain and area availability of pain management resource options.

Program Participants:

Dr. Martin Rice, from the Medical University of Ohio; Elaine Swope, a Nurse Practitioner for Pain Management at St. Charles Mercy Hospital, who also serves on the Board of Directors for the American Society for Pain Management Nursing.
