Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announces enhanced efforts by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Ohio Department of Transportation to prevent fatalities on Ohio's roads over the holidays and into the new year.

To date, 2019 ranks among the top four deadliest years on Ohio roads over the past decade. Distracted driving is believed to be a significant contributing factor to the increase in deaths.
