Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted, along with the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation and the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services discuss the Social Media Parental Notification Act and other mental health priorities included in the State Budget.
The Social Media Parental Notification Act would require certain online companies to obtain verifiable parental consent to contractual terms of service before permitting kids under the age of 16 to use their platforms.
