Thomas J. Yablonsky, executive director, Historic Warehouse District; Stephen Loomis, president, Cleveland Police Patrolmen's Association. Cleveland's Warehouse District is both a residential neighborhood and a hot downtown nightspot. Civic and business leaders hope to keep it that way by helping the district get over some growing pains. Recent scuffles involving security, club-goers and police have drawn charges of racial bias and raised questions about the conduct of crowd control. The Mayor's office has organized a meeting of district business owners and plans a session next week on discrimination awareness.

Muzzling the Rowdiest Dawgs:
The Browns are cracking down on alcohol-fueled rowdiness in the stands. Fans who are drunk, disorderly or foul-mouthed-- sometimes all three--are being removed, some of them to a holding tank in the bowels of Browns Stadium. The club hopes the stadium will be a more family-friendly place, more attractive to young fans. They're still working on the concept of winning football.
Dimora Still Public Official #1:
Cuyahoga County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora will continue his role as an elected official despite his indictment last week on federal corruption charges. Dimora maintains his innocence and has refused calls to resign. Federal judge Nancy Vecchiarelli agreed during a bond hearing this week that he can remain in office with tight restrictions on what matters he's allowed to vote on and which county employees he can speak to. Dimora has pleaded not guilty on a 26-count indictment.
Watch Your Mouth:
This week, the ideastream stations begin coverage of a significant public health problem, oral disease. We all know poor dental health causes tooth pain, but research has also shown it also contributes to other health problems including heart disease and diabetes. We'll talk about this with local endodontist Andre K. Mickel.
