Research Center. NASA Glenn learned recently that it will play a major role in developing the next generation of manned space vehicles. Glenn will develop the craft's service module, designed to provide power to the crew that will explore the moon and the propulsion to return the crew to earth. The project appears to solidify Glenns place in NASAs orbit for years to come.

Use of Force: A special prosecutor exonerated Cleveland police officers this week in fatal shootings dating back to early 2004. Retired Judge C. Ellen Connally investigated the five shootings, concluding that the officers who fired the shots were acting according to established city policies. Some of the shootings, especially that of teenager Brandon McCloud last year, sparked protests by the family and community leaders.
