Governor Kasich has privatized the state development department and given it a new name: JobsOhio. Leaders there will tap into the experience of the existing business attraction agency Team NEO to market 18 counties of Northeast Ohio to the rest of the world. Mr. Feagler talks with Waltermire about how the public-private partnership will work.

JobsObama:

President Obama spoke to a joint meeting of Congress Thursday night to outline his plan to energize an economy that's stuck in neutral. The President was expected to offer federal aid to states to help retain jobs and restore infrastructure, extend a payroll tax holiday and help small business. He'll reportedly offer a plan to pay for it all. Meanwhile, a new Pew Research Center poll finds that majorities of Republicans, Democrats and independents doubt that Obama's proposals would do a lot to create jobs.

September 11, 2001, the Tenth Anniversary:

New skyscrapers rise on the footprint of New York's former World Trade Center, destroyed in a terrorist attack ten years ago Sunday. Four hijacked airliners brought down the twin towers in NYC, damaged the Pentagon and crashed in a farm field in Shanksville, PA. The panel will reflect on how the nation has changed in the wake of the attacks.
