Two of the most important institutions in Toledo are ProMedica, the hospital and health system powerhouse, and the University of Toledo. Two summers ago, they agreed on a blockbuster academic affiliation agreement that will tie the two together for at least half a century, and result in the transfer of a quarter of a billion dollars from ProMedica to the University. But how is this working out?
