Deadline Now - 3-10-2017 - Frederick Grimke

Frederick Grimke was an early Ohio Supreme Court Justice who had a secret and had written a controversial essay that was never published in his lifetime. He believed that if women could be given access to higher education, some of them might well go on to have careers just as men do. Publishers thought this idea was too shocking for the American Public, and refused to publish it. It was almost totally lost to history. Thanks to Toledo attorney turned historian Frank Melhorn, the essay itself has just been republished together with its whole fascinating story.
