Kyle Ezell, Founder, Get Urban America and Author, Get Urban and Retire Downtown
Ezell says, "Cities are wonderful. To me, there's nothing more special and fulfilling than living in an authentic urban environment. Unfortunately, authentic urban living in too many American cities is more of an unrealistic idea than a real option. This is simply not acceptable! In the decade of the exurbs, I have decided to dedicate my life to teaching people about city living. Won't you join me in getting America urban?"
Ezell is the founder of Get Urban America, a Columbus Ohio-based urban planning firm dedicated to teaching the urban lifestyle to American, a predominately suburban culture. Kyle is a trained cultural geographer and a nationally-known certified city planner and teaches Downtown Housing courses for The Ohio State University's City and Regional Planning Program. He has been interviewed by numerous newspaper and television media as an expert on revitalizing cities, including the Wall Street Journal, The Chicago Tribune, Metro New York and the Columbus Dispatch.
Ezell is the author of "Get Urban! The Complete Guide to City Living" and more recently "Retire Downtown" in which he coins and defines the word "Ruppies."
