Elected to the Ohio Senate in 2002, Ray Miller is also president and CEO of Professional Employment Services of America, the largest minority-owned executive search firm in Ohio.

With several hundred community awards, Miller is widely recognized as an expert in the development of public policy on health, human services and education. Senator Miller has sponsored significant legislation on healthcare, human services and education, as well as being called the "father of Head Start funding" in Ohio. Miller has served on the White House staff as deputy special assistant to President Jimmy Carter.

A graduate of Columbus East High School, Miller earned a BA in political science and an MA in public administration from OSU.
