City Club of Cleveland - Why Libraries Are More Important Than Ever

In a world of iPhones, Kindles and tablets galore, one might assume that physical books are quickly becoming obsolete. That, however, is not the case. The Cuyahoga County Public Library, the busiest per-capita library system in the nation, is a testament to this notion.

CCPL's Executive Director, Sari Feldman, was recently elected president of the American Library Association, the world's oldest library association. In 2013, she won the Public Library Association's Charlie Robinson Award, which recognizes innovative public library directors. Feldman has a B.A. in English from the State University of New York at Binghamton, and a M.A. in Library Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Join Feldman, as she discusses the increasing relevance of libraries and their impact on our communities.
