City Club of Cleveland - Making a Business Case for the True Value of Water

Water is critical to the health of the United States and world economy. Current economic models put 45 percent of the world's gross domestic product (GDP) at risk due to water quality and quantity challenges by 2050. In a world of population growth and changing climate, access to safe and clean water will significantly drive economic development for decades. In Northeast Ohio, water is a key component of our regional economic competitiveness and we must maintain our commitment to water quality improvements.

As part of the Year of Clean Water, join us as we kick-off our series focused on elevating the Value of Water with Edwin Pinero of Veolia Water North America. Mr. Pinero will be discussing the economic value of water from both the international and water-rich regional perspectives.
