Broad & High - Jubilee Museum December 30, 2015
 
 
 
The Jubilee Museum in Franklinton holds the largest collection of diversified Catholic and liturgical artwork in the United States. From altars and vestments to relics and stained-glass windows, the collection represents a large swath of the history of Christendom. The museum also features rotating exhibits and currently on view are more than 200 nativity scenes. Art in the Sanctuary: "We Three Kings" : St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Delaware, Ohio presents two shows a year during the Christmas and Easter seasons, known as the "Art in the Sanctuary" program. Currently on view is "We Three Kings," with works depicting the visit of the Magi to the Christ Child. The show features 23 paintings, prints and sculptural pieces from 13 countries, illustrating the role sacred art can play in the liturgical life of a faith community. Festive Floral Arrangements with The Flowerman: Join our host Kate Manecke as the floral designers at The Flowerman help her assemble a festive floral bouquet using seasonal items. Get tips and tricks to make your own arrangement out of materials you can find in your own backyard. Nativity Gourds: Amy Knight of Columbus has spent the past few years carving sculptures for her expansive nativity scene, which is on display every year at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Victorian Village. The setting features 25 figures and 65 animals that range from the traditional angels and three kings, to vultures, giraffes and even an Egyptian queen. Huntington Holiday Train at the Columbus Metropolitan Library: This segment from 2013 features the Huntington Holiday Train, a 600-square-foot display in the lobby of the Main branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library. It was originally displayed in the lobby of the historic Huntington Bank Building located at Broad & High. The Main Library is currently closed for renovations, but the train is timeless.
