Attorney General Mike DeWine - Announcing DNA Turnaround Time Progress
Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine releases new information regarding the status of turnaround time for DNA testing performed at the Attorney General's Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) Laboratory. Before Attorney General DeWine took office in 2011, each DNA case took approximately four months to fully process. At this news conference, DeWine provides details on the substantial progress made in reducing turnaround time and how these efforts are helping police, prosecutors, and the public.
