Don't touch that ground turkey! Last Wednesday, meat selling giant, Cargill, sent out one of the largest meat recalls in U.S. History.
Over thirty-six million pounds of ground turkey were called back- as they were found riddled with an anti-biotic resistant strain of salmonella. One person has died, and over seventy-six people have fallen sick.
This outbreak began in March, so why is the recall just occurring now? What makes this strain of salmonella different? What's being done about it?
