Now that summer break and Labor Day are over, the legislature will soon be coming back. And now fall campaign season can really begin - as if it hasn't been going for most of the summer. The real battles are likely to revolve around Issue 2 - the attempt to reject Senate Bill 5, the collective bargaining reform law - and Issue 3 - the constitutional amendment that could allow Ohio to opt-out of the federal health care law. But the first issue on the ballot is getting little notice. House Majority Floor Leader Matt Huffman of Lima talks about why he thinks Issue 1 deserves more attention.
The man who now heads up Ohio's higher education system was the state's top prosecutor. Jim Petro is now on a surprising new crusade - to free people who are wrongly convicted and to stop them from being locked up in the first place. Petro and his wife Nancy Petro are the co-authors of the book "False Justice - Eight Myths that Convict the Innocent".
