Description
Dwindling tax dollars from a cigarette tax means fewer dollars available to fund arts and culture programs in Cuyahoga County. This week the non-profit that distributes the money collected by the tax approved a cut in its budget for grants to local arts organizations. Then, the mass shooting in Las Vegas saw bystanders stepping in to provide life-saving help to those injured. The shooting has pushed forward the idea of emergency training for the public for those instances when bystanders may be the only help immediately available.

Guests:
-Karen Gahl-Mills, CEO, Executive Director, Cuyahoga Arts & Culture
-Fred Bidwell, Chairman, Action Committee for Arts & Culture
-Dr. Thomas Collins, MD, Director, Emergency Medical Services, MetroHealth Medical Center
-Dr. Deborah Kuhls, MD, University Medical Center Las Vegas, ACS Committee on Trauma
