Description
While the polar ice caps continue to shrink, the polarization in our civic discourse on climate change may be preventing us from finding a solution. Most scientists say the debate over global warming is over. The only worthy debate now is what impact it's having and how to solve the problem. Professor Michael Mann of Penn State fears deniers are holding us back. Mann and two other experts in climate change join the discussion. They're in town for a public conference at Case Western Reserve University. Later, you might not want to sit down for this news: Sitting can be really, really bad for your health. Our Be Well Health team helps us understand why, and why we all should be moving more.

Guests:
-Michael Mann, Ph.D., Director, Earth System Science Center, Distinguished Professor, Atmospheric Science, Penn State University
-Stephen Palumbi, Ph.D., Director, Hopkins Marine Station; Principal Investigator, Palumbi Lab, Stanford University
-V. "Ram" Ramaswamy, Ph.D., Director, NOAA, Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory, Princeton
-Marlene Harris-Taylor, Be Well Health Reporter, Ideastream
-Dr. Haitham Ahmed, MD, Preventative Cardiologist Cleveland Clinic
-Joe DiRocco, Regional President Northeast Ohio, Fifth Third Bank
