The Sound of Ideas

Description
Two Ohio legislators have proposed making permanent a temporary program that offered amnesty for fees and fines, making it easier for people to have their driver's licenses reinstated. On the Sound of Ideas, we'll learn how the fee amnesty program has worked in Cleveland Municipal Court since it began in January, and why there's a push to make make it permanent. Later, what is a "deepfake" video? It's not good. We'll learn more. And, we'll share content each day this week about the 50 years since the infamous Cuyahoga River fire.

Guests:

-Judge Emanuella Groves, Cleveland Municipal Court

-Lekina Everett, Entrepreneur

-State Rep. Dave Greenspan (R-Westlake)

-Brandon Szuminsky, PhD, Assistant Prof of Journalism, Baldwin Wallace University

-Mark Urycki, Reporter, ideastream
