Last week here on the Sound of Ideas, we brought you a robust discussion covering many of the ballot issues Northeast Ohioans will see on their ballot this year.
We saw a ton of great interaction on that program, and had more questions than we could get to --- including questions about the two statewide issues on the Ohio ballot.
Those are Issue 1, which concerns bail set by judges. Specifically, the concept of public safety, and how a judge would need to consider public safety when setting bail.
The other issue on the ballot, Issue 2, would enshrine in the Ohio constitution that non-citizens wouldn't be able to vote in local elections.
There is, of course, plenty of nuance to both of those issues - and so we wanted to kick off today's show talking about those two ballot issues.
Andy Chow, our News Editor down in the Statehouse will walk us through the details.
Later in the hour, we bring you the latest, and final, episode of our Inside the Bricks: My Changing Neighborhood podcast.
