Description
A declining birth rate, a pandemic, and a papal declaration on why people make certain choices, and suddenly, the discussion about childless couples is on the front burner.
Our conversation today focuses on people who do not have children and the many reasons for that.
We dive into the vernacular between being childless, and being child-free, and to those in that position, there is a large difference.
We'll tackle topics like how the perceived challenges of parenting play into a couple's decision.

Issues like financial stability, medical complications, and racial strife certainly weigh on potential parents.
And many we already have way too many people for the resources on this planet to sustain.
There's already been a ton of conversation on our social media sites, and we invite you to join the exchange.

I'll be joined by a woman who writes about issues on her blog "theNotMom", Karen Malone Wright. Dr. Sandra Russ, from Case Western Reserve University will also be with us.

Later in the hour, another episode of WKSU's "Shuffle" podcast. This month, Host Amanda Rabinowitz sits down with Cleveland singer-songwriter Ray Flanagan.

Guests:
- Karen Malone Wright, President and Founder, "TheNotMom"

- Sandra Russ, PhD, Distinguished Professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences, Case Western Reserve University

- Amanda Rabinowitz, Host of Morning Edition and Producer of WKSU's "Shuffle"

- Ray Flanagan, Musician
