Description
The Ohio Historical Society hosted the Ohio Civil War 150 Brunch at the Ohio Statehouse on April 10, 2011. Wes Cowan of the PBS series "History Detectives" delivered the keynote address about why the story of Ohio's role in the Civil War is as important today as it was 150 years ago.

Cowan, who is founder and owner of Cowan's Auctions in Cincinnati, is an internationally recognized expert in historic Americana. He appears as one of the lead investigators on the "History Detectives."
