The Sound of Ideas

Description
Organized labor scored a big victory, using a big budget, in the battle to repeal Senate Bill 5 in Ohio. In Wisconsin, labor is mobilizing to repeal the governor after he led efforts to curb unions. On the next Sound of Ideas, we'll look at the influence labor still has on politics, despite dwindling membership over the years. We'll talk about money and mobilization and we'll examine continuing efforts to curb labor's influence.

Peter Overby, Power, Money and Influence Correspondent, NPR

Mark Mix, President of the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation

Bill Lavezzi, Executive Director, Northeast Ohio Education Association

Harriet Applegate, Executive Secretary, North Shore Federation of Labor
