State Rep. Teresa Fedor (D-Toledo) holds a news conference in the Ladies Gallery of the Statehouse to detail a Democratic push for the Kasich Administration to reverse course on its recent rule change which prohibits pre-school providers from layering federal and state funding to serve more children and families.
The state estimates the new administrative restriction will cut $12 million in state funding to pre-school providers throughout Ohio, not counting hundreds of millions of lost dollars in federal grants for early childhood programs.
