Press Conference

Description
State Representative Gary Scherer (R-Circleville), along with State Representative Michael Sheehy (D-Oregon), will hold a press conference on Thursday to provide updates and information regarding House Bill 293, legislation seeking to modernize and re-structure Ohio's young driver licensing system. In an effort to decrease the crash rate among young people, the bill would lengthen temporary instruction permit time to 12 months and institute nighttime driving protections for new licensees at 10:00 PM instead of midnight. The press conference will take place ahead of Teen Driver Safety Week (October 21 - 27).
