The Healthier Ohio Working Group is comprised of members of the Finance Committee principally from two subcommittees - Health and Human Services and Agriculture and Development, along with bipartisan committee leaders. This meeting continued the conversation on healthcare reform with a policy focus on further transforming Medicaid and employing a range of other programs aimed at successfully promoting more Ohioans from needing public assistance.

The working group hears from witnesses regarding work-force related issues. Including Ron & Catherine Tijerina, Co-Founders and Co-Executive Directors of the RIDGE PROJECT and also Judy Jagger-Mescher, Program Director of Health Education at Wright State University.
