Description
Interstate 77, Interstate 75, The Ohio Turnpike. Where did these highways come from? We have all traveled a highway, but most of us have never thought about how these roads came to be. It seems so simple; jump in the car, get on the road, and arrive at your destination. It hasn't always been this way.

Up until the 1950's, traveling across the country was not easy. Unless you traveled one roadway in particular. The Lincoln Highway.
