Description
"The Lima Company Memorial: A Remembrance of Spirit & Choice" was unveiled during a ceremony at the Ohio Statehouse on May 23, 2008. The exhibition was created by Columbus artist Anita Miller in memory of 22 fallen Marines and a Navy Corpsman from the Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, who lost their lives while serving in Iraq in 2005. The memorial contains life-sized paintings of each of the 23 fallen heroes.
