Governor John Kasich

Description
Governor John Kasich announces Ohio's plan to revamp an existing partnership between the Department of Jobs and Family Services and internet job-search leader Monster.com to improve the website: OhioMeansJobs.com. The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has been a proponent of this effort as a means of connecting Ohio's job creators with those who are searching for employment. The program offers Ohio businesses with job openings an opportunity to post those openings on the OhioMeansJobs.com website, while also allowing job seekers to post resumes and information to the same site. The Ohio Means Jobs website uses resources and information provided by Monster.com to connect the job openings with qualified potential applicants.

Additional Remarks made by:

Rick Malir - President of City BBQ

Michael Colbert - ODJFS Director

Mark Patton - Dept. of Development

Lee Ramsayer - VP of Sales, Monster.com Government Solutions

Rep. Anne Gonzales - Westerville

Rep. Mike Duffey - Worthington
