Governor John Kasich joined Hidenobu Iwata, President & CEO of Honda of America, to announce the selection of Ohio as the production site for the new Acura NSX supercar. Iwata stated that Honda chose Ohio for the NSX project because it "is in the midst of one of the greatest collections of engineering talent in the world." Production will begin in 2015. Additional speakers included Chief Engineer and Acura NSX Large Project Leader Ted Klaus and Associate Chief Engineer and Acura NSX Manufacturing Project Leader Clement D'Souza.
