Cholesterol. We have all heard of it, but you may not know a lot about it unless your doctor has checked your cholesterol and reviewed the results with you. But then what do those numbers really mean and what can I do to lower the ones I should lower and get the ones up that I need to raise? On today's show we are going to learn more about cholesterol, the good, the bad and the triglycerides.

Recently the Ohio Department of Aging inducted the 2011 class of the Ohio Senior Citizens Hall of Fame. Comprised of nineteen exceptional older Ohioans, each has given their time, resources, energy, commitment and compassion to improve the quality of life for others. Seven of the inductees answered the call when Worthington asked them to help build the character of the community's children. The Circle of Grandparents work with teachers in the classroom, impacting the lives of school children and serving as role models for positive aging.
