Governor Strickland's ambitious reform plans for Ohio's education system have passed a major hurdle. The Ohio House passed the biennium budget last week, which included a school funding and reform plan that has raised the levels of both policy debate and political rhetoric at the Statehouse.
With the bill on its way to the Senate floor, the Governor has requested an opportunity to discuss with the Columbus Metropolitan Club his education reform and funding plan and reinforce its vital role in Ohio's future economic prosperity.
