Description

This stagecoach in the southern light court of the Ohio Statehouse is a reminder of how different life for Ohioans was when the Statehouse was completed in 1861. Early visitors to the Statehouse traveled by stagecoaches such as this one, making the long journey on bumpy, unpaved roads.
