Description
Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announces two new efforts through the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy to help educators and law enforcement prepare for and react to a violent school incident.

Since 2011, Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine's Office has trained nearly 29,000 educators and law enforcement officers on preventing and/or responding to active shooter incidents. Attorney General DeWine also worked with schools across the state to achieve greater compliance on school safety plans and convened a School Safety Task Force that issued dozens of school safety recommendations.
