Just over a year after former President Donald Trump was acquitted in his first impeachment trial, the Senate will convene for a second impeachment trial.
Democrats will focus their case on Trump's attempted subversion of the election which culminated in the attempted insurrection on January 6 while Republicans question the constitutionality of impeaching a former president.
